Mariners vs. Red Sox at Safeco Field
What a cool experience to get to see a Major League Baseball game, the Statium was huge, and it was a sold out crowd of more than 46,000 screaming fans!
The Mariners were three games out of first place, so it was important to win! The Mariners hit a home run in the second inning and didn't score again till the end, then the Red sox went up 4-1. And Finally in the bottom of the 8th, the mariners scored two to get to 4-3. (And that place was going NUTS! it was so cool to be there screaming!)Then the Mariners brought in a new pitcher the top of the 9th and he got 2 strike outs. One was Manny Ramirez and the other was Big Papi, David Ortiz, both All-Stars! You couldn't hear yourself think after that! and the mariners got a ground out to end the top of the 9th....
So the mariners had they're chance to win it in the bottom of the 9th! But they had two quick outs, then they got a base hit, then the guy on first stole second! There was then a walk! And then...........the last batter of the night..........popped up to the catcher. It was over. DARN IT! But it was super fun to be a part of it!
Matzusaka, who is a Rookie that the Red Sox paid like 19 million to bring over from Japan, pitched most of the game, and in the 7th inning, he was STILL throwing 96 mph fastballs! He was amazing! Here is a picture of him warming up,
and then a photo of all the Japanese fans taking pictures of him, while he was warming up. It was pretty funny! You should have seen the Camera flashes go off as he was pitching to Ichiro!
Seattle Space Needle
This last Saturday Rachel and I headed up to Seattle for the day, its about 2 1/2 hours north and we've had babysitters lined up for about a month now. We were really looking forward to getting away for the day and enjoying ourselves. We met up with Brant and Lindsey, who live near Seattle, and went up the space needle! .JPG)
I must say it was a Beautiful day and the views were awesome! heres a few photos of Seattle. We also had tickets to the Mariners vs. Red Sox game!
Both of Tayson's bottom teeth have broken through!!! :) Both of Benson's also, but still not any for Loggan. Benson's new thing is he loves clapping his hands! We have been playing pat-a-cake the last few days and yesterday he just started clapping by himself, and he does it all the time too! It is so fun to watch. Benson and Loggan love talking to each other. Benson will make as much noise as it takes to get a reaction out of Loggan and when he gets one, he laughs hysterically!! We are trying to get it on video and picture so all of you can see how cute they are. Benson is definitely our most active of the three...I mean he is always rolling around, making loud noises, or just doing anything. We can't even get him to lay still to change his diaper. Speaking of changing his diaper...I was trying to change it the other day and he tries to roll over when you're changing him. He had a poopy diaper and was rolling over. I tried to turn him back on his back when he grabbed the diaper from underneath him and had poop all over his hand!! So I'm trying to clean that off and still clean his bum and then guess what he does??...He pee's all over me, him, and the carpet!! So needless to say the one diaper ended up taking me about 20 minutes to change!! So that's what has been happening with our boys the last few days!!!

The new hair-do...
Wednesday, August 1, 2007
Well, the good news--Tayson's bottom right tooth finally broke through today!! Yeh!! The bad news--he's even more unhappy because they still hurt:( The boys are all doing great though. Benson's second tooth (bottom right) came in a few days ago and Loggan's still haven't come through. The boys just love being outdoors...hanging out in our backyard, going for walks, and playing at the park. We have a doctors appt. later on this month so we will post how well they are going then.
