The Boys are 2!!

Yes the boys turned 2 the 15th of this month so I am a little late at getting this posted! We were down in Utah enjoying the last time flying before having to pay for all 5 of us!! We got home late at night on the 14th and were up the next morning to get ready for a really fun party with all of our friends here in Portland. We had a family party, which was also a blast, while we were down in Utah! Thank you to all the family and friends who celebrated with us! We can't believe how these last to years have flown by. I keep telling Andy that I really don't remember much from the first year, it just all blends together! I just wanted to give a little tribute to our wonderful boys, the joys of our lives!!

Loggan Tanner: You are sooo incredibly smart! You understand things and pick up things very quickly. I love when you try not to smile so your upper lip covers your top teeth! You definitely have the big brother qualities and your brothers look up to you and follow your every move! (Even when it's a bad one!:) Time out is a pretty often occurance for you because although I am sure you love your brothers you seem to always want to hit them, slap them, throw something at them, or sit on them! But I can't really blame you because your dad wrestles with you and your brothers just aren't your dad!! You are very strong willed and overall just strong little man. You are a great helper and love to vacuum. You love the outdoors so winter time is not going to be fun up here! We love you and are so glad you are a part of our family!!

Benson Albert: The 'Entertainer'!! You love to dance and have such a smile and way about you that is sooo contagious! You love to follow whatever Loggan does but you are also very independent too. You have loved reading probably sense the day you were born and you remember things very well. I love how you can read a book back to me and not even be looking or really thinking about it, it just comes so naturally. You also seem to understand and recognize emotions. You just walk up and give hugs at just the right time. You also know how to push the right buttons though. You and Loggan seem to be real good at hitting each other and pushing each others buttons. You also know what bugs your brothers and you can be a little tease sometimes. You are a great helper and love to vacuum and help do the laundry. We love you and are glad you are part of our family!!

Tayson Jack: You are finally walking!! Yeah!! What a great birthday present to you and to me!! You are so content with most anything and a lot of the times just like to be left alone and not picked on and bugged all the time. Although this has been a tough two years for you with working so hard to learn new things, you never gave up and I am proud of you! It has been tough on both of us and a lot of work but look at you now! You have this way about you that people just love to be around you and get you so smile! We will call you the silent destroyer though too, because you are so quiet until we hear something break, smash, rip, etc. You love to learn and we can tell that you are soaking it all up. You love stars, moons, and airplanes and get so excited when you see any of these which in turn makes all of us excited. You tend to be the one that gets picked on by your brothers but we see that you love them and want to do what they do and one day I am sure they will regret picking on you!! We love you and are glad you are part of our family!!

Happy Birthday boys!! Although the road has been tough at times we couldn't imagine just having you one at a time! We love that you all came together and we look forward to a fun year ahead of us!! We love you Loggan, Benson and Tayson!!
