Ward Party and Candy Cames

So yesterday was a beautiful day in Oregon. It felt more like June then Dec, it was probably 60-65 degrees, the sun was shining without a cloud in the sky. So We spend the day washing the cars, cleaning out the garage, and picking up the house before the long winter months come of rain each day and being stuck indoors(and it arrived this morning, its been raining all day and like 45 degrees.)
Also, Last night we had our Christmas Party, It was a hit with the boys for a number of different reasons. First off, they actually ate everthing we put in front of them, we had olives, rolls, funeral potatoes, and honey glazed ham. The olives and rolls are a no brainer for our boys, they love em, in fact I think the other family that sat at our table was wondering where the bowl of olives went that was sitting on each table when we arrived....well.....they ended up on little boys fingers......then into their tummies! So far we've been unable to get them to really eat ham, but Loggan ate his share then finished bensons, and I think all three of them had 2 helpings each of the potatoes. What a miracle to see them eat so well, all three at the same time is rare!
So near the end of dinner there was a ANOUNCEMENT! we had a special visitor, SANTA CLAUS, now the boys know the guy in reds name, but i don't think they grasp who he really is. Regardless, we had to get their photo with him. and Tayson and Benson did great, but Loggan was going to have NOTHING to do with the guy with the beard. as you can tell from the photos. But the present they recieved was spectacular, THEIR FIRST CANDY CAN! Or as Loggan says, "candy came." Too cute son! So they then proceeded to run around the gym, eating their candy cames and enjoying the night. It was alot of fun and it really got us into the Christmas spirit.

Y'alls boys are so cute! San Antonio has been quite warm too...but a cold front is finally as its way. Then it will feel more like Christmas!
