Our priests quorum(16-18 yr old boys at our church) wanted to do a pinewood derby, and while Ive never actually done one growing up, i was all for it. It turned out to be alot of fun, we also included the cub scouts of our ward and i was impressed to see how much time they had put into their cars(1st and 2nd place went to 2 cub scouts.......sorry priests.) I could tell they were so excited to put their cars on the track and see how they stacked up against the older boys of the ward. here are some photos.
This was the first place winner overall, Derek! he was super stoked to beat his older brother Joe !
The track our ward has is sweet! it had a track timer too so you knew exactly what time youd ran! And my car was running sixes! Fast!

Looks like fun--we miss our old ward! What a good sport Andy is letting two scouts beat him, right?
