Andy here. So this weekend the Rally America National Championship made a stop here in Oregon (http://www.rally-america.com/index.php). There are only 9 stops throughout the entire country, so were lucky to get one here. Ive wanted to go see one of these races as I recently got a WRX myself (and YES.... its the best thing Ive ever done.) Although Im not planning on jumping into a race anytime soon, I wanted to see how fast they go. It was cool to drive out to the middle of nowhere, see tons of other people there and watch cars go flying by. The boys had tons of fun trying to get lost in the woods and just playing in the dirt. Heres some Viedos and pics from the day!
This is a view from around the corner about 30 feet from where we were sitting, they had specific areas taped off where you could only watch at, I guess something about a car flying by you at 110 MPH on a gravel road forced them to block off "safe areas" or something.... This spot would have been perfect too! If only we had bright orange vests on like the race volunteers. We could have watched the race from here like them.

Travis Pastrana in his WRX STI, his a Amazing human being. He kills it on a dirt bike, and now is in the running for a national title in rallycar, He is good at anything he does. He was in first place after today. I asked some guy that was anouncing the race if he had any idea how much money they've got into those cars, He told be between 180-200k. Crazy.
